The Pleasure Ethic

This isn’t indulgence - it’s intelligence.
Discover how pleasure can become your pathway to balance, vitality,

and magnetic self-trust.

The Pleasure Ethic?

What is

The Pleasure Ethic is more than a practice ...

It’s a philosophy. A reclamation. A remembering.

It’s about rewriting the script we’ve been handed:

From outsourcing our worth → To self-sourcing our power

From depletion → To replenishment

From people-pleasing → To personal sovereignty

From hustle → To harmony

From numbing out → To tuning in

At its core, The Pleasure Ethic follows a living map:
 Self-awareness → Self-care → Self-trust → Self-worth → Sovereignty

It’s a feminine framework for flourishing ...

Rooted in body-based wisdom, attuned to the nervous system, and infused with practices that invite you back into your own radiance.

And yes - it carries the pulse of the Divine Feminine rising.

The Goddess archetypes whisper through this work, reminding us that pleasure is sacred, that presence is power, and that when women shift … the whole world shifts.  That’s the power of our magnetism.

Its  an embodied journey ...

Part philosophy, part practice, part reclamation.

Inside, you’ll explore a blend of somatic practices, soulful frameworks, and feminine wisdom designed to shift you from depletion to radiance, from outsourcing to self-sourcing.

Here's a taste of what you'll experience ...

Hi, I’m Lynne

In 2001 I jumped on a plane to Australia. Working holiday. One year. No plan.

In the first three months I wrote 30 songs. 😳 (Pure catharsis honestly.) 😅

Crappy boyfriends. Feeling unworthy. Searching for something I couldn't quite name. 😬

What would I would call my album ... 🤔 🤣

And then it dropped in -

The Pleasure Ethic.

Poetic. Mysterious. Perfect. 😶‍🌫️

But the more I thought about it ... It was a complete mismatch.

These songs were hardly a manifesto for joy. 🥲

But the phrase landed. And it stayed.

A friend even had the words etched onto guitar picks for my birthday in 2003.

And I carried them for 25 years.

Fast forward two and a half decades.

I kept noticing the same thread running through so many women's stories.

Including my own.

Low self-worth.

Looking outside ourselves for validation. For that sense of being enough.

The right relationship. The right reaction. The right number on the scales.

And it never quite worked. Did it.

Because relying on anyone but yourself for happiness or worth - is a recipe for heartbreak. 😮‍💨

The shift came through Brett Larkin's course, 'Yoga for Self Mastery.'

Built around one sutra - Tapas. Svadhyaya. Ishvara Pranidhana.

Cultivate the opposite. Know yourself. Relinquish control.

Brett taught that self-awareness leads to self-care.

And somewhere in the middle of that teaching -

a lightbulb moment that quietly changed everything. 💡

Self-care leads to self-worth.

Not through doing more. Not through achieving more. Not through being more palatable,

more productive, more pleasing.

But through the radical, revolutionary, completely ordinary act of -

Choosing yourself. 😳

Every cup of tea savoured. ☕️ Every boundary honoured. Every nap taken without apology.

A deposit. In the bank of your solar plexus. Every. Single. Time.

Every act of self-choosing -

Builds worth from within.

The Pleasure Ethic isn't passive.

It's the most active, intentional, sovereign thing you'll ever do. 🔥

So when I realised I needed to shout this from the rooftops ...

The biggest WTAF & OF COURSE moment of my life happened. 🤯

The Pleasure Ethic was never an album title. (I mean, obvs ... those songs were depressing as! 😭)

It was THIS.

A philosophy. A way of living. A movement ready to rise. 🌸

So here we are.

The Pleasure Ethic ™

A radical reorientation that says;

YOUR pleasure is your power, your protection and plugs straight into your worth.

And it's YOUR responsibility.

And the most important work you will ever do. 💥

And the most enjoyable. 😄 (I mean, what's not to love!?)

'Because a well-rested, self-sourcing woman doesn't lose her sh!t over another empty milk carton in the fridge.*

Well. Hardly ever. 😉

Just in case you were wondering!
