Hormone Yoga is a dynamic practice designed to stimulate the glands and organs of your endocrine system - the guardians of health. These glands regulate mood, metabolism, stress, appetite, fertility, and so much more through hormonal communication. Through movement, breath, and restorative rest, this practice aims to bring your hormones into greater balance. **Who is it for?** * Recommended for anyone 35+ to support hormone balance and ease menopausal symptoms. * Can help reduce risk of osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease. * Supports younger women with PMS or fertility, and men with testosterone levels and prostate health. * With regular practice, may also benefit conditions like thyroid dysfunction, diabetes, and PCOS. **Benefits include:** * Activates glands, abdomen, pelvic floor & bones * Improves flexibility, digestion & metabolism * Supports nervous system balance & relaxation * Eases hot flashes, improves memory & mood ⚠️ **Contraindications - Important** This practice may increase estrogen levels. Please do **not** attend if you have: * Severe endometriosis, fibroids/myoma, or estrogen-sensitive breast cancer * Any hormone-related disease or cancer (unless cleared by your physician) * Recent surgery (wait until fully healed) * Pregnancy * Acute psychosis (due to breathwork) 👉🏻 Always consult your healthcare professional if unsure. ⚠️ Please Read Before Booking ⚠️ Hormone Yoga is a therapeutic practice designed to activate and balance the hormonal system. During class, we’ll focus on specific glands and organs such as the ovaries, thyroid, adrenals, and pituitary. I know not everyone has these organs physically, and if that’s true for you, you’re warmly invited to connect with the energetic space they represent - qualities such as creativity, vitality, and inner wisdom. That said, the language of the practice will directly reference these glands and organs. If this feels uncomfortable or not right for you at this time, please know that’s absolutely okay - but this may not be the class for you. My intention is always to create a respectful, supportive, and nourishing space. 🌿✨ -- * Come wearing comfortable clothes - ones you can stretch in. * Bring a Yoga mat & Water. Cancel or reschedule via the app up to 4 hours prior to class. This allows time to work through any waitlist. By coming to class you agree to having read and understood the contraindications to Hormone Yoga and that you're attending class fully aware of same.
